The Macho Minute is about my dog Macho, a chihuahua I rescued in January of 2010. Macho was rescued from a house in Dearborn, MI where 100+ other Chihuahuas were found alive and another 150+ were found dead amongst garbage piled from floor to ceiling. Due to these living conditions, Macho is very timid at all times. I created the Macho Minute to share Macho's stories and progress, as well as my joy of rescuing a dog who needs extra love and care.

Lazy Day for Macho Poochu

Yesterday was quite the lazy day for Macho. He enjoyed himself while playing in a blanket, getting all tangled up, and then trying to find his way out. Apparently the 5 minutes of doing this tired him so much that he just passed out on the couch for a few hours. As the day went by, he was more and more comfortable, which means I became less and less comfortable as I got to lay halfway off the couch while we took up the whole corner! He's a few pics of the day- oh, the life of a dog!

It's a talent we little dogs have - the smaller we are, the more room we can take up!

This is the first time I have visited your blog. I am so glad that Macho has a loving home with you. He is very pretty. Macho is the same color as my Ruby. It sounds like Macho has come a long way since you first adopted him. It's amazing what love and care can do.
